Mindfulness Class

Our mindfulness class is the perfect start to your week. We use this time to go a little deeper into awareness of our bodies and our minds and to cultivate a greater sense of stillness.
Breathing techniques, guided meditation, subtle movement exercises and much more are used to help us ground and connect with the quieter side of our lives and hopefully helps to set the tone for our week.
We would love for you to join us and see where it takes you.
Next series of classes begins on Sunday, September 14th at 5:30 pm.

How To Get Started

Saturday Fundamentals Mat Class: $12
Get your first introduction to Pilates in our weekly Fundamentals class, every Saturday at 11 am. With our rotating schedule of teachers you get the opportunity to learn a variety of tools to start your path with Pilates. This class is designed for beginners or returning students.
 
NEW Student Beginner's 5 Pack: $275
Five individual sessions for any student new to Pilates Collective. This is the perfect way to get started or to re-enter the Pilates method. Includes a basic postural assessment and work on all pieces of equipment.

Mat/Springboard Class Intro 3 Pack: $150
This is our basic pre-requisite for entering the Level 1 classes (or prior approval or experience). It's also a great way to experience how to integrate the use of springs into the classic mat work and take it to the next level.

Class Descriptions

 
Fundamentals: This class is the perfect place to begin or to come back to. With alternating teachers students will get the opportunity to learn the building blocks of Pilates and begin to experience the variety of subtle movements, muscles and imagery that make up the practice of Pilates. Suitable for all levels, perfect for beginners!
 
Mat/Bodyrolling: This class is designed for mixed levels and ties together both classic Pilates mat work with a variety of release techniques. Depending on the teacher, the class may cover more or less of the classic integrated with innovations and modifications as it is appropriate to keep the class flowing and the students safe. Will accomodate beginning to intermediate levels.
 
Mat Flow: Enjoy the flow and pace of Pilates Mat work. This hour long class will test your balance, flow and rhythm through both the classic work and advance adaptations of the exercises. The flow class may include elements of yoga, dance and gyrokensis. Appropriate for intermediate and advanced students.
 
Fitcore Pilates Mat: This class is dedicated to establishing and deepening students' awareness of the powerhouse - the deep core muscles - and will include a variety of stretching and
strengthening elements from the Pilates repertoire. Mixed levels.
 
Mat/Springboard: Our Mat/Springboard classes are the perfect blend between mat and equipment work. Students get to work with the dynamic resistance of the springs while deepening their understanding and ability to execute class Pilates exercises. These classes will safely take students from the beginning to advanced work. Check schedule for level.
 
Equipment Trios: The trio is a three-person equipment class in which students get to explore all of the Pilates equipment (Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillacm, Mat, Springboard and Barrel) in a dynamic and flowing one-hour session. Take the fundamentals and classic mat work and turn it into a multi-layered exploration of your body and it's capabilities for easeful and efficient movement. See schedule for class levels.
 
Cardio/Kickboxing: This is a fun and challenging class that's going to make you sweat! With a great soundtrack of tunes in the background you'll work every part of your body with a blend of martial arts, kickboxing and cross training techniques. The class is lead by a experienced and gentle teacher so it is appropriate for all levels. If you have any serious limitations, please call and speak with the teacher prior to class so he can make sure to keep the environment safe.
 
Zumba: Let your inner dancer out! This is not a fitness class it's a dance party. Zumba is a blend of exciting music, latin dance and simple choreography. This hour-long class is absolutely sure to leave you smiling and sweating! Appropriate for all levels. Supportive shoes necessary.

Classes that do not fill will be cancelled. All classes and sessions are 55 minutes unless stated otherwise.
